What does Ride Light Calc do?
Ride Light Calc checks whether your planned ride start falls in daylight, twilight, or full dark, using sunrise/sunset data from sunrise-sunset.org. Built for cycling, but works just as well for hiking, trail running, dog walks, or any other outdoor plans.
Does this work correctly for locations far from me?
Yes — times are computed in the ride location's own timezone (looked up automatically from its coordinates), not your device's, so checking a ride on the other side of the world shows correct local times for that place.
Why doesn't the date/time picker show a popup in Safari?
On Safari, the date and time fields don't show a popup like Chrome's — tap into a field and type the numbers directly (or use the up/down arrow keys) to set it.
